I Dress Myself

CAKE!

Everyday for the last two weeks we have been to The Old Bake House just around the corner from our studio and brought a few cakes. We have slated (although there was never much to slate!)and rated these cakes. We have tried as many as we could and came up with the best contenders that we could give "First Place For The Best Cake" to! There were some particular favourites, Pete's being the Jam Doughnut and Chelsea bun (a repeat purchase!) A lot also has to be said for the selections of beautifully homemade short breads and fresh cream filled pastries. First Place could not be handed to just one of these so we decided to award joint first to The Classic Jam Doughnut and a wonderful Lemon and Blueberry Sponge Cake. Definitely worth a try!
