Print your own money
Today we visited Centrifuga, a screen printing workshop on Mariannenplatz in Berlin. It’s connected to "Unter Druck", a club for the homeless as well as for the socially marginalized who are willing to promote their interests with self-made ideas and self-initiative. The printing shop offers people the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the silk screen printing process as well as the possibility of representing their creative ideas within a graphic medium. They take orders from the general public and print their own stuff that they sell in their shop. They are organising a DIY print festival in May and have a competition to print your own money.
