Soil association approval for inks
After some pretty mega paperwork, Colormaker Industries have received organic certification from the Soil Assocation for their Permatone range of inks (the ones we use for textile printing). It's great news - Colormaker have worked really hard to develop products that are water based, solvent free or both. The Permatone range in particular is an outcome of significant ongoing investment in Research and Development.
David Stuart (the MD of Colormaker and a good friend) is stoked. "This gives us a clear competitive edge," he says. We say "well done!" These inks are 100% solvent free, yet still deliver really pure, vibrant colour, an exceptionally superior soft handle and excellent durability.

This are real great news! Hooray!!! Well done Colormaker industries!
From Liliana Spark on 2012-03-28Hi everyone, my name is Alessandra and at the moment I´m testing water based screen printing inks [textiles]. I´m very interested in the Permaset aqua range and from my research it seems that it is possible to create my own colours colours using the Permaset printing paste and Permaset pigment concentrates. I´m also in the UK and I´m finding very difficult to find those pigments[I could not find them in their UK stockist site- West Design. In the other hand there is this Permatone range that has won an organic certification and apparently enables me to mix my own colours, do you know if they are available in the UK? Many thanks Alessandra
