How to screen print T-shirts using Permaset water based fabric inks

Introduction

An introduction to the range of Permaset water based fabric inks.

How to use Permaset Supercover inks

Learn how to screen print using the opaque Supercover water based fabric inks.  You don't need to use a white underbase with these inks and you don't need to resort to using harmful discharge printing to print onto dark coloured garments. See for yourself.

How to do staggered printing to prevent the inks drying into the screen.

It's important to keep the ink moving on the screen when using water based inks so that the ink doesn't dry into the screen. This is especially important with the Supercover inks as they're thicker than standard water based inks to give good results on dark-coloured garments.

How to do a multi-colour screen print using the First-down white underbase

For some multi-colour screen prints it is better to use a First-down white underbase and print onto this using the thinner standard Aqua inks. This method is preferable for very detailed designs and for prints with lots of colours.
