T-shirt printing
Screen printing gives high quality, durable results. We screen print by hand onto T-shirts using waterbased inks that contain no harmful ingredients at all.
Prices
Add together the following prices (screen prep, garment prices, screen printing, artwork & delivery), as appropriate. Don't forget to add 17.5% to the final total for VAT.
Screen printing
The cost of printing is dependent on the number of garments being printed with each design as well as the number of colours in each design. There is a minimum print run of ten for tees and twenty-five for tote bags.
For every print (e.g. front central, left breast, back) the following prices per garment apply:

The above prices are dependent on print-ready artwork being supplied.
Screen preparation
To print your garments a screen must be prepared for every colour of your design and for any additional prints at a cost of £25 per screen for up to A4 size or £30 for up to A3 size.
Garment prices
All garments are made from organic cotton, organic cotton - in conversion, or sustainable bamboo so no pesticides have been used at all. Tees are made from high quality ringspun cotton and have a great fit.

We can source other garments - if there's something specific you would like, please ask.
If you prefer to supply your own garments, please add 25p per garment handling charge. However, please make sure that the printable area is completely flat (no seams) and one layer of fabric only. The garment should be heat resistant (cotton and polycotton ok) and we must be able to stretch it over a board for screen printing. Check with us first to be sure.
Artwork
See this guide for how to prepare your artwork for screen printing. If you need help, we provide a professional in-house design facility and can vectorise images, create a vintage look, undertake complex colour separation or create artwork from scratch. We charge £25 per hour for design work. However, we can carry out simple colour separation and basic preparation work for free. Please ask.
Delivery
Delivery by next-day courier service costs £8.00 (plus VAT) to anywhere else in the UK (excl. Scottish highlands, islands, etc. - sorry) per box of garments (one box can take up to around 100 T-shirts). You can come to the studio to collect if you prefer.
Turnaround
An average of 2 weeks but does vary so place your order as early as you are able. Let us know if you have a specific deadline to meet and we'll try our best to help you.
Fees and payments
Payment should be by cheque, debit/credit card, cash or bank transfer. A 50% deposit is required on all orders; the full balance is to be paid on collection or prior to delivery. All goods remain the property of I Dress Myself until paid for in full.
