Al Heighton
Biography
Al Heighton is a cheeky chap from Doncaster South Yorkshire, he likes a brew, reading Tintin and Asterix books and thinking about the next piece of artwork. The next piece is always the better one. Failing that he likes to ride his bike and argue he still doesn't know the offside rule in football.
Al has contributed artwork to a number of publications and projects clients include The Guardian,The Financial Times, Channel 4, Newby Hall, Bolton College, Pentagram and the Arctic Monkeys among others. Al plans to keep riding his bike, dabble doing more tutoring at colleges and universities and indeed keep drawing images; till he is a very old man and hopefully settled and in love with a lady.
