I Dress Myself

Chris Summerlin is an illustrator and musician living and working in Nottingham.

Originally making gig posters out of necessity for the Damn You! collective of gig promoters that he was part of, he has now designed over 200 gig posters for clients all over the world; as well as countless record sleeves and magazine illustrations all embracing a love of bold colour and clear, simple design.

He still uses Photoshop 5.0, a PC made in 1998 and a lightbox made out of a record player lid.

He can confirm that wearing a dressing gown to "work" and eating eggs every single day has no adverse effects on his output. His favourite film is Trading Places. His favourite band is Lungfish. He finds it very annoying when people steal his pens. His grey hair to normal hair ratio is beginning to bother him.
