Gemma Latimer
Biography
Gemma Latimer is a Freelance Illustrator based in Nottingham. Her freelance career began after graduating from Liverpool University in 2006 with a BA in Graphic Arts. From there Gemma found her self catapulted into the world of editorial design and since has enjoyed a successful run of editorial, advertising and music commissions. More recently she has created a range of products for retail including illustrated bags, badges, cards and screen-printed artwork. Gemma enjoys combining traditional techniques with new technology, the co-existence of high and low-fi processes, juxtaposed and assembled with refinement. Collage allows her to put all this together conspiring to produce a haunting feeling of nostalgia.
