Julia Pott
Biography
When Julia was younger she wanted to be a balloon.
Unfortunately that dream fell through and now she is a freelance illustrator and animator based in East London. Her work tends to explore the motivations behind human relationships, representing characters as mildly ridiculous anthropomorthic animals.
Her work can be found in many different formats, including prints, self published books, bags, laptop skins, pillows, wallpaper, aprons and film.
Currently completing an MA in Animation at the RCA, she is also part of the animation collective Treat Studios, and is signed as an animation director to Picasso Pictures.
Her clients include The Decemberists, E4, Skins, Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, Of Montreal, Malibu Rum, It's Nice That, Picador and Chronicle Books.
